I've been contracting for over ten years, and have never been happier since I moved to Aardvark. The accountancy advice I've received has always been spot-on, timely, and exceedingly helpful. I've also been impressed with the speed and efficiency of the service I've received, irrespective of which member of staff I deal with. My emails and telephone enquiries have always been met extremely promptly - even when it's been entirely my fault and put them under pressure. The software that provides the customer interface is intuitive and easy to use, which is a significant bonus if, like me, you end up doing your business administration outside of working hours!! I've recommended them to several of my friends and colleagues who have subsequently moved their business across to Aardvark and who also can't praise them highly enough. I thoroughly commend Aardvark to anyone looking for a highly competent, professional and customer-friendly accountancy service.
Lack of communication and service in general.
So far, so good - recently joined (will post another review after the first year) - have had very good, personal service so far, quite a contrast to the previous accountant who were adequate but had significantly higher prices with fewer features.These were recommended by a colleague who also highly rated their service and helped him escape his old awful accountancy service. After the first review they have already highlighted some accounting efficiencies I could make use of.
Very poor service. After one year with Aadvark, I changed my accountant to one that costs more, but offers much higher value. My new accountant has now revealed all sorts of inadequacies from the Aadvark team. They may be one of the cheapest in the market, but be aware that you receive the service you pay for. In my experience, the value I received was so poor, very bad communication. I would not recommend this accountant I'm afraid. You're much better off paying a bit more and receiving a decent service.
