Extremely helpful friendly staff. Reasonable rooms in the hotel. Good selection of beers and drinks at the bar. Some very dodgy food products on the menu. The burgers in the evening and the sausages on the breakfast menu were some of the worst that my colleagues and myself had tasted. Not so much the way they were prepared (Though I suspect that they were microwave or reheated meals ) but the quality of the products. Quite ridiculous for a chain like this to be supplying such cheap, nasty products. CHANGE YOUR SUPPLIER.
Hotel and restaurant. Pleasant rooms but sever condensation and some mould around the windows. Nicely decorated. Bath with heated towel. Comfy beds and tea making facilities. Meals are traditionally English. Good range of beer and ales. Conference rooms available. Staff are efficient and friendly.
Popped in on our way home. Asked for a table and mentioned how cold it was, the barman put us by the fire. Good customer service think his name was Gav also food was delicious.
My wife and I ate at the St Leonard's Hotel last Sunday lunch time. The pub/restaurant itself is quite nice although the first thing we saw when we walked in was a dog sat on a bench seat at a table whilst it's owner was eating next to it. I don't mind dogs in bars but leave them on the floor please! The restaurant wasn't very busy and we were seated very quickly and our order taken. The food was reasonably priced (we had a Beef Rib and a Lamb Shank) and it was as expected for 'pub food'. The thing that let it down slightly was the wait, we waited over 40 minutes from our order being taken until the food was delivered despite the place not being very busy.
Nice, clean, modern rooms. Staff were helpful. Breakfast could have been better (the porridge is the worst I've ever had). Room service was good. Cleaners didn't clear away our tray from the previous night. Overall not bad.
