After having years of knee pain, Aengus at Foot Focus was recommended to me by my Physio, who felt I needed some specialist advice about my foot position. I had a thorough assessment and analysis of my joints and muscles as well as walking and running gait patterns. I was given a structured treatment plan tailored to my needs and I was fitted for some custom orthotics. For the first time in years I have no knee pain! I would highly recommend this clinic. Thanks Aengus!

Went to visit Footfocus following an ankle injury. Aengus was very thorough with understanding the cause of the injury, identifying ongoing symptoms and remedial actions required. Overall a great all round service. Many thanks

After almost a lifetime of punishing my feet through rugby, running and various martial arts and inheriting flat feet , I felt no-one was going to rescue my foot situation. Then things became really bad with intense pain which was ultimately diagnosed by engus as plantar fasciitis.6 weeks later with an initial consultation, treatments and the use of custom orthotics, I am completely pain free and have even developed arches in my feet.engus is a genius podiatrist and one I will continue to use on a 6 monthly basis moving forward, to ensure my feet are in the best possible condition. Any foot condition, Footfocus are the guys you need to be seeing!

I have been a runner for over 10 years. I was a late starter, but I have carried on ever since. There isn't much that beats the feeling of freedom and fresh air on one's face when running. It is so simple and yet so rewarding. It is challenging at times, butour bodies thank us for it when we come home after a session of running, however short or long. One of the most common mantras for runners is: "it is not so much that we don't know If we will get injured, but that we don't know When we will get injured".Injury is almost inevitable. Too long, too fast, too soon. These are common denominators for those of us that have suffered an injury. We can't help it. We need to try things out and we learn about our bodies in the process. We learn how it copes with the different challenges it entails. We explore the limits, we push the boundaries. How we face injury, how we learn from it and how we can help prevent it, becomes a very important part of running. Doing this is easier said than done. Some times we need help to recover. Expert help then becomes invaluable, especially when a niggle lingers for far longer than we expectl or can cope with. I met Aengus during a very challenging time. He was recommended to me by my physio after a few weeks of physiotherapy whilst trying to sort one such niggle in my left foot. His diagnosis was spot on and the long process to recovery then began. He began work on flexibility, organised orthotics for me, helped me build confidence, plan a stretching routine, begin running again. And once I could run he has helped improve my form with a few sessions based on gait analysis. He gave an all round sustained support that I needed. The challenge, as I learned, was as much mental as it was physical. Aengus has all the qualities I didn't know at the time were needed! Not only did he have the Know How, he also proved to have lots of patience, awareness and empathy dealing with the ups and downs of progress with an exceedingly supportive approach and encouragement that got me back to running. I can only say, Thank you Aengus for showing me the road to recovery and teaching me how to run properly in the process. Running wasn't as simple as I thought after all. I now know there is more to it than I thought, there is the right way to do it and I shall pursue it for as long as there is fresh air outdoors.

After suffering with foot pain and very painful toes from running I reached out to Aengus to get me back up and running pain free. After a very thorough initial assessment and subsequent prescription of orthotic running shoe inserts I have been able to get back to running pain free. I was impressed with the technology used and the gait analysis and use of the pressure plate machine gave me confidence in this being the right treatment plan. If you have foot problems of any description I would highly recommend Footfocus and Aengus as I am sure he can get you pain free. Thanks very much Aengus.
