Total rip off. Charges people for work that has not been undertaken.Also accuses staff and customers of theft.Went bankrupt and reopened the next day !!STAY WELL CLEAR OF THIS EXCUSE OF A MAN
Just one star witch is Dennis Hanns star peace rubbish mechanic cost me a lot of money to fix his mistakes never go back and advise anyone thinking of using this garage to do so at there own risk
A good, honest garage whose boss, the inimitable Dennis Hann, has a vast knowledge of all makes of vehicles. What you won't get is a load of bulls**t and ridiculous prices.In response to the reviewer who thought they were no longer in business because the phone was not answered please be aware that this is largely a one-man operation and Dennis is a First Responder and therefore sometimes called out to save someone's life! Be patient.
In today's world, it's unfortunate that everyone is out to take your money by any means possible. I am one of those people who doesn't have much of that. My personal experience with MOT testing is that I have noticed over the last ten years an increasing number of questionable testing mechanics. You can't argue their findings and the repairs they say you need. But often a gut feeling makes you wonder, if what they say needs to be done; does in fact need to be done. I don't generally do reviews, but in the case of HDM autos I am. Without a doubt I would not take my car to any other garage than HDM autos. They are a gold find. Good old fashioned Honest reliable mechanics. I moved recently from Dorset to Northampton but I absolutely will not go to anyone, other than HDM autos for my MOT, or any other work that i may require. (Unless my car can't physically make it to Dorset/Hants. About my car.. it's an old 1998 primera that i bought for 50 from my boss. It's had 3 MOTs with HDM. Apart from an oil and filter change I've never had it serviced. In those 3MOTs it's needed wiper blades 3 tyres and back exhaust. and no advisories. Great stuff HDM. Thank you for your honest service. Highly recommended.
